Susan has more then 16 years of clinical experience in manual therapy, orthopedics, dance and sports physical therapy and rehabilitation.
Susan specializes in orthopedics: evaluation, manual release, neuromuscular reeducation, movement analysis, providing a framework for balanced, easeful and efficient movement for everyday activities, sports and performance demands.
Susan received a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 2002. She was a professional dancer based in NYC for 20 years. She worked with the White Oak Project and Mikhail Baryshnikov, touring for 2 years. She was in house physical therapist with the Merce Cunningham Co., working domestically and touring abroad for 8 years.
Her background in dance, love of movement and manual skills are are what drive her practice; restoring strength and stability for easeful motion in all levels of activity.
